Meet the Gents

Business Manager
Jack Weisgerber '25 - Frederick, Maryland
Jack is a sophomore pursuing a double major in History and Music and serves as our amazing business manager. While not singing Tenor II and Baritone with the Gents, Jack can be found leading a choir section at the Williamsburg Presbyterian Church and posting (absolutely hilarious) content to YouTube. His favorite memory in the group was writing, directing, editing, and *finishing* the GOC Wars Final Video for our Final Concert last year in just 3 weeks! This year, he is most excited for homecoming and cannot wait to see past group members!

Music Director
Joseph Lorber '24 - Charlottesville, Virginia
Joseph is a junior who sings just about every voice part and beatboxes for some of our songs! He is a Linguistics major and participates in Linguistics research. He also loves playing the jazz trombone and performing in various musical theater productions. His favorite memory with the group was his initiation night where he first had the opportunity to hang out and bond with old and new Gents. He can't wait for initiation this year, and is excited for our "grand slam" of a repertoire!

Assistant Business Manager
Stavan Bhakta '23, MSBA '24 - Minneapolis, Minnesota
Stavan is a brand new senior in the Gentlemen of the College, and we're so happy he decided to audition before he graduates later this year! He's majoring in Business Analytics, and sings primarily Baritone and Bass. Outside of Gents he's involved in Student Assembly, AKPsi, and SASA, and in his free time he loves to write, work out, play the electric bass and even do a little bit of Jiu-Jitsu. Does anyone have his number? I'm asking for a friend. Stavan is excited to enhance his vocal talent while making great friends and memories.

Assistant Music Director
Derron Mendel '25 - Sunnyvale, California
Derron is a rising sophomore at the College and is considering a double major in Linguistics and Psychology! He anchors our lower voices, singing in both the baritone and bass sections. Derron also sings with the Botetourt Chamber Singers and fences while not performing with the Gents. His favorite memory with the group is driving to Charleston, SC for our spring break tour (2022) and singing on the street, and he is so excited to meet our newest singers and see where the group goes this year!

Publicity Manager
Sajen Schuchert '26 - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Sajen is a brand new member of the Gentlemen of the College this year! As a freshman, he doesn't yet know what he wants to major in, but is following in the tradition of undecided Gents freshmen by saying he's majoring in being silly and minoring in goofing off. Outside of the world of a cappella, Sajen plays IM sports, and loves all things baseball. One thing he's looking forward to this year in Gents is singing with his friends (and coming up with a better answer to that question next time.)

Social Manager
Julian Green '25 - Gaithersburg, Maryland
Julian is beginning is second year at William & Mary and his third semester in the Gents! He is currently undecided about his major but we know he will be outstanding at whatever he does. He sings with the Tenor II section and is active outside of Gents, participating in both Rock Climbing Club and Club Swim. His favorite memory with the group is going on late night walks around Colonial Williamsburg and Charleston, SC, and he is so excited for this semester and the opportunity to make new friends and get closer to old ones.

Historian
Nikko Bannon '24 - Richmond, Virginia
Nikko is a junior and has been singing with the Gentlemen of the College since his freshman fall. Along with being a regularly featured soloist in the group, he is pursuing a major in Film Studies at the College. Outside of the Gents, Nikko is active in the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, plays guitar, skateboards nearly everywhere, and loves being silly and goofy. His favorite memory since joining the Gents is on shakes night when we [REDACTED].

Adam Farris '24 - Ipswich, Massachusetts
Adam is a junior pursuing a major in Economics and a minor in Finance, although he is currently studying abroad at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. He sings Tenor I with the Gentlemen, and this year, Adam is so excited for auditions and cannot wait to meet the newest members of the group and start performing again. Outside performing with the Gents, Adam works in marketing at the W&M career center, participates in Tribe Fellowship student ministry, sings with the Botetourt Chamber Singers, and will intern as a consultant at Ernst & Young next summer. His favorite memory with the Gents is performing at the Grand Illumination ceremonies hosted by Colonial Williamsburg during Christmas last year, and he can't wait to do it again!

Graham Hogg '23 - Swarthmore, Pennsylvania
Grambles - I mean Graham - is a senior pursuing a major in Biology and a minor in Music. He serves as our social chair and sings with the Baritone and Tenor II sections. Outside the group, Grum works as an RA (you're in for a real treat, Yates Hall!) and interned at Janssen Pharmaceuticals this past summer. His favorite Gents memory was completing the triathlon at W&M with other *adventurous* members of the group. He is most excited to meet our newest members this upcoming semester and growing closer to everyone!

Sal Rego '23 - Lawrenceville, New Jersey
Sal is a senior and the leader of our bass section! He will be finishing up his major in Physics and minor in Math this spring. His favorite memory (somehow) is flatulating more times in one rehearsal than years that our group has been active. While he is not performing with Gents, he works as both a Teaching Assistant and in construction, and can be found lifting in the gym. He can't wait to hang out with the Gents this year and attend social events with other groups!

Carlos Noel '23 - Manassas, Virginia
Carlos is pursuing a self-designed major with a minor in Biochemistry and graduating this upcoming spring! He sings with the Tenor II section, and outside of performing with the Gentlemen, Carlos is involved with W&M's competing a cappella group (No Ceiling), serves in Student Assembly, participates in Biology research, and volunteers at Lackey Clinic. His favorite Gents memory was the Northeastern United States tour (spring 2020 - just prior to the beginning of the pandemic) and staying at another member's beach house in New Jersey! Carlos is most excited to jump into our new repertoire for the semester with some "killer tunes!"

Colin Billings 24' - Yorktown, Virginia
Colin is a brand new Junior in the Gentlemen of the College! Like most of us, his voice part is Baritone, but we're pushing him out of his comfort zone and onto the treble clef. Outside of Gents, Colin is majoring in International Relations and does a lot of theatre! In his free time he enjoys writing and hacky sack. In addition to being excited to be a Gentleman of the College, Colin is also excited to perform and be involved with the larger a cappella community at William & Mary!

Maddox Kromash '26 - Arlington, Virginia
Maddox is a brand new Freshman in the Gentlemen of the College this year! His official voice part is Tenor, but we've made him sing most of the voice parts at least once by now. Outside of Gents Maddox is a proud member of the esteemed Merrymen Ultimate Frisbee team, and a frequent napper. He's looking forward to traveling with the Gentlemen this spring, as well as performing in Williamsburg’s Grand Illumination!

Jack Sullivan '26 - Vero Beach, Florida
Jack Sullivan (or “Sully” as he's known in the group to reduce confusion) is a brand new Baritone this year! Officially, his major is undecided, but he's thinking of majoring in Economics. Outside of the group Jack loves all things Frisbee, and plays on the Seahorse team here! Looking forward to his first year with the Gentlemen, he's most excited to groove with his new friends, and perform on the road this Spring!

Jon Geerdes '25 - Oakton, Virginia
Entering the Gents as a Sophomore, Jon is our brandest, newest member! He's a confident Tenor 1, and debuted his impressive range at our most recent Wren 10. He's declared a major in kinesiology with a pre-med concentration. In addition to his rigorous academics, Jon participates in a wide array of extra-curriculars- he's the captain of the Men's Volleyball Club and participates in both Rock Climbing and Jiu Jitsu. He says that this semesters he's looking forward to jamming with the guys onstage and making some sweet sweet music!

Photographer
Justin Sherlock '23 - Danville, Virginia
Justin is a senior pursuing a major in Biology and a minor in Film & Media Studies, serving as our official photographer. He is currently working with The Flat Hat Newspaper as Lead Photography and Social Media Editor, along with running a small photography business. In his free time, you can often find him listening to lo-fi hip hop beats on Sadler Terrace. He was dragged into- I mean introduced to- the Gents’ circle by Jack Weisgerber ’25 and is excited to offer his photography services for the foreseeable future!
